When this mama raccoon came out of the bushes, I saw her but she didn't see me and was coming right toward me! So I clicked a few shots to alert her and stood really still. That's when she stood up on her hind legs and looked at me before retreating with her three kits in tow. Phew!

I Hope You Never Lose Your Sense of Wonder

I was coming from photographing birds all morning and had not been driving but a few minutes when we saw a few deer near the road. I stopped my car just long enough to open the door and capture a few images. I just love its eyelashes and the look of curiosity at me. :)

Mount Evans is approximately 14,000 feet above sea level, one of America's highest locations that you can drive to. The mountain goats there are just a wonderful addition to the fantastic vistas.
